I'm a fan of the art that was produced in the 1920s during the Harlem Renaissance period. I admire the fresh, bold and honest sophistication of artists such as Hale Woodruff, Aaron Douglas and Archibald J. Motley to name a few. In this piece, I have tried to capture some of that spirit.
